Photo 1  The parasol is keeping the sun off the gas fridge. Under the fridge the plug for the outboard housing is a water cooled box for wine.

Photo 2  A low consumption computer fan is an effective way of circulating air through the boat.

Photo 3  The boom tent is a white tarpaulin purchased for three pounds from the builders merchants and keeps direct sunlight of a large area.

Photo  4  The solar panels worked really well in these conditions and easily provided for all our needs.    

Throughout the summer of 2003 temperatures of 40 Deg C. were frequently recorded.

Keeping things cool was a challenge.
